Rolex has once again captivated the world of luxury watches with its latest offerings, blending vintage design with pioneering innovation. Unveiled today at Watches and Wonders, these new watches reaffirm Rolex’s commitment to excellence and its ability to set new horological standards. Let’s take a look at the specifications of each of these remarkable timepieces.

The Land Dweller

In a bold step, Rolex introduces the Oyster Perpetual Land-Dweller, writing a new chapter in its rich heritage. The watch, available in 36mm and 40mm case sizes, is a reflection of Rolex’s unparalleled watchmaking art. The Land-Dweller features the pioneering Flat Jubilee bracelet, flawlessly combined with the Oyster case to create a flawless synergy. Its dial has an elegant honeycomb motif, which is circled by a fluted or diamond-set bezel, adding a touch of sophistication. The beating heart is the calibre 7135 movement with a frequency of 5 Hz, thinner than the majority of Rolex movements, but nonetheless offering exceptional performance.

The 1908

Pushing ageless style to new levels, Rolex introduces the Perpetual 1908 in a 39mm 18ct yellow gold case, now paired with the newly launched Settimo bracelet. The seven-link bracelet offers ultimate flexibility and comfort, in keeping with the brand’s emphasis on both aesthetic and utilitarian values. The 1908 is equipped with calibre 7140, a movement at the cutting edge of watchmaking technology, to be admired behind the clear case back, with enthusiasts able to marvel at its craftsmanship.

The GMT-Master II

Rolex introduces a new, striking version of the Oyster Perpetual GMT-Master II with its very first ceramic dial on an 18ct gold watch. Crafted from 18ct white gold, the model boasts a green Cerachrom dial that perfectly complements the green and black bezel insert. As a timepiece for globe-trotting travellers, the GMT-Master II readily displays multiple time zones and features calibre 3285, a movement renowned for its precision and reliability.

The Oyster-Perpetual

A pop of colour for a Rolex icon, the watchmaker introduces new lacquered dials to the Oyster Perpetual, in soft pastel colours – lavender, beige and pistachio. The dials possess a unique matt finish, giving the watch a contemporary appearance. The Oyster Perpetual watches are offered in 28mm, 36mm and 41mm diameters, all featuring movements that speak to Rolex’s commitment to precision and performance.

The Datejust

Rolex unveils a new Oyster Perpetual Datejust 31 in 18ct yellow gold, boasting a bold red ombré dial. The appearance boasts a refined gradient from an incandescent centre to a black outline, with diamond-set hour markers and a bezel featuring 46 brilliant-cut diamonds. The calibre 2236, a movement at the forefront of watchmaking technology, powers the Datejust 31, making it both beautiful and accurate.

Through these launches, introduced in Geneva today, Rolex continues to combine tradition and innovation, offering watches to connoisseurs and novices alike. Watches that are designed to be appreciated for generations to come. Each model illustrates the watchmaker’s relentless pursuit of perfection and seals its position as the absolute top in luxury watchmaking.
