The Whisky Exchange Cognac Show Returns this April
The famous Cognac Show will be returning from 22-24 April 2021 with a full virtual line-up of stars from the Cognac world
Good news! The world’s biggest online Cognac show will return this month, featuring educational (and delicious) tasting sessions, immersive brand talks, and interviews with some of the most interesting characters from the world of Cognac.
Using virtual event platform Hopin (also used for the Whisky and Champagne shows back in 2020) guests will be able to engage with producers via their sessions and attend masterclasses, tastings, and seminars to learn more about France’s most luxurious spirit.
For the first time ever, the Cognac Show 2021 will also have two guest spirits – Armagnac and Calvados – with a tasting session led by Head Buyer for the Whisky Exchange, Dawn Davies MW, giving attendees the opportunity to experience the similarities between the spirits. There will also be a range of cocktail-making sessions for those who want to learn more about the art of mixing.
Those more au fait with their Cognac will also have the opportunity to experience Hine’s Early Landed Cognacs, tasting the difference between those aged in Cognac and the UK, as well as an exclusive Old & Rare tasting with Cognac collector and co-founder of The Whisky Exchange Sukhinder Singh.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to try liquid history from the comfort of your home, with bottlings from 1858 and 1900 included in the line-up. There will also be an exclusive look (and taste, naturally) behind the scenes in the AE Dor Paradis cellar where they store their oldest eau de vie.
