Calvin Klein x Palace: CK1 Palace
Collaboration season continues. Almost every major fashion and design house indulges in regular collaboration given the massive demand for crossovers over the last decade. London based Palace Skateboards have been one of the leading voices in the British subculture since their inception in 2009. Now, the brand have teamed up with Calvin Klein in a move that takes Palace up another level. Oh, and Willem Dafoe loves it, so you will.
The iconic Palace Tri-Ferg returns, this time adorning the Calvin Klein name alongside their own. The extensive collection scents, t-shirts, washed denim, and of course, branded underwear.
Staring Lucien Clarke, Willem Dafoe, Dame Collins, Pet Shop Boys, Precious Lee, Savannah Keenan, Jah Brown, Rory Milanes, Adwoa Aboah, and Unknown T.
Palace have placed themselves at the forefront of contemporary streetwear. Yet, it seems only Palace and Supreme are able to reach the highest echelons of collaboration given their track record and willingness to engage with brands and companies far out of their traditional street fashion jurisdiction.
Will the Palace x Calvin Klein collaboration be the best of this year? Only time will tell.
