Birmingham’s Liquor Store Teaches us How to Up Our Layering Game
Stellar fits and layering tips from the fine folk at Liquor Store
The Gist:
Liquor Store opened in February 2012 and is located at the heart of Birmingham’s business district. The store has a multi-brand first floor with a comprehensive wall of denim, plus a Nudie Jeans repair station for customisation and alterations.
Downstairs is a partnership concept space with Universal Works and (for those in the know) a place where you can enjoy a secret drink – 1920s prohibition-style.
At the heart of Liquor Store is the ethos of ‘buy well once’. Quality is essential to the offering and is a fundamental value that is applied to every product. From heritage to next-generation brands, each label shares this core principle, combining meticulous attention to detail and care with longevity.
