IWC TOP GUN ROADSHOW ARRIVES IN MANCHESTER

London, 15th October 2022 – IWC Schaffhausen is hitting the road to tour three different cities around the United Kingdom with a brand-new interactive Top Gun roadshow exhibition with the latest coloured ceramic watches. Housed in specially-converted shipping containers, the booth offers a peek inside the Swiss luxury watchmaker’s world, inviting the British public to discover more about its brand story and presenting the newest TOP GUN designs in its iconic Pilot’s Watches collection.

2022 is the year of IWC TOP GUN and has seen the launch of several new stylish models with striking colours and innovative materials. In addition to launching “Lake Tahoe” and “Woodland” editions in statement-making shades of white and green ceramic, IWC has also added a Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 TOP GUN in Ceratanium® “Jet Black” and the Big Pilot’s Watch 43 TOP GUN in black ceramic. Each new timepiece reflects the same hallmark performance and polish of IWC TOP GUN since the Pilot’s Watch Double Chronograph TOP GUN was introduced in 2007.

The touring exhibition, officially tagged #IWCONTOUR and #IWCTOPGUN, will travel to three different UK cities (Edinburgh, Manchester and London) from June to October 2022. Having started in Edinburgh, the Roadshow has returned to Manchester for the second year running after the success of The Big Pilot Roadshow. It will be in front of the Arndale shopping centre and will be live from the 15th to 18th October 2022 which will mark the end of the TOP GUN Roadshow.

The booth, designed to resemble shipping containers, is packed with cutting-edge technology, industrial styling and high-tech expertise to bring the brand’s story to life and explore the new coloured ceramic models in more detail. From colour inspiration to how IWC worked with PANTONE® to finalise the shades, every stage of the meticulous production process is explained in fascinating detail. As well as immersive experiences, guests can also enjoy a drink or coffee from local partners such as Brewdog and Union Coffee who share the same sustainability ethos as IWC.
